My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The mildew smell in the rooms was quite off-putting at first, and the price was definitely steep, especially during the game weekend. However, I got used to the smell eventually, and the hotel's location right across from the elevators was both convenient for access but a bit awkward with everyone watching me exercise.

The staff here at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially during Hurricane Irma. Although they never reported the impacts of the hurricane, the service was top-notch with room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, a welcome drink, and even happy hour.

The location is perfect if you're visiting the University of Florida. Despite the musty smell due to humidity, the hotel is right across from the school and conveniently close to UF and several college bars in Gainesville, suitable even for guests without a car.
